The T-shirt 7200 and its sizes: Asian vs Australian sizing
Our T-shirt Premium Cotton (7200) is cut in Asian sizes - how they compare with Australian sizes, and how to measure a shirt, even without a measuring tape.

The T-shirt Premium Cotton (7200) is the shirt most of our clients print on: soft, preshrunk 100% ring-spun cotton of 180 g/m², from 1 piece. It is cut in Asian sizes - so before you order, check its size in centimetres, not by the letter. Here is how.
The 7200 in short
- Fabric: 100% ring-spun, preshrunk cotton jersey, 180 g/m² - soft, and it keeps its shape
- Heather colours: 50% cotton, 50% polyester, for a textured look
- Sport Grey: 90% cotton, 10% polyester
- Sizes: S to 5XL, in Asian sizing
- Printing: front, back and both sleeves

Asian sizes vs Australian sizes
Asian sizes are made for a slimmer and shorter build. Two things are different:
- Each size is smaller. The same letter is not the same shirt.
- The sizes grow less from one to the next - about 3 cm across the chest in the 7200, against about 5 cm in our Australian cut (T21S).
So the bigger the size, the bigger the difference: an Australian L is about a 7200 XL, and an Australian XL about a 7200 3XL. Most people from Australia, Europe or the US take one or two sizes bigger in Asian sizes.
Always go by the centimetres in the table above - and between two sizes, take the bigger one. Do you want the Australian fit? Choose our Australian cut, T21S.
How to measure a shirt
Take a t-shirt you like to wear and lay it flat on a table, smooth, without stretching it.
- Width: straight across the chest, from armpit to armpit
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the bottom hem
Find those two numbers in the size table. A t-shirt is measured flat, so the width is half of the way around the chest.
No measuring tape? Use what you have
Many things around you have a size you can look up - lay them along the shirt and count:
- Your phone: google its size, like "iPhone 15 size" (14.7 cm tall). Lay it on the shirt again and again, and add up.
- A sheet of A4 paper: 29.7 cm long and 21 cm wide. The long side and the short side together are 50.7 cm - about the width of a 7200 M.
- A bank card or ID card: 8.56 cm long, the same size everywhere in the world.
- A banknote: a Rp 100,000 note is 15.1 cm long, a US dollar 15.6 cm, an Australian $50 note 15.1 cm.
- A piece of string or a phone cable: lay it across the shirt, hold the place with your fingers, then measure the string with your phone or a sheet of paper.
A few centimetres off is fine: the sizes are 3 cm apart.
