What font is this?
A picture of words in - a logo, a shirt, a poster - and the fonts that look like it out. Free; the picture stays on your computer.
Drag a box around the words to find - one line works best. Green: the letters found.
What does it say?
The words read - green ones are compared. Two fonts in one picture? Click the words in the other font (here or on the picture) to leave them out.

Questions
How does it find the font?
It finds each letter in your picture and compares its shape with the same letter in every font in our library - the fonts whose letters are most alike come first.
Why type what it says?
So each letter is compared with the right letter of every font. "Read it for me" reads the words for you - check it, and fix any letter it got wrong.
Which pictures work best?
Flat, straight words with clear edges: a logo, a screenshot, a sign photographed from the front. Curved, outlined, 3D or very small words are harder - mark one line, and the biggest letters.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. The letters are found in your browser; only their shapes (a few numbers each) are sent to compare.
