Reports & Costing

Month by month: shirts, revenue, cost, profit, fabric and film.

How many shirts did you make last month? What did they cost you? How much film went off the roll, and did that job actually make money?

Most shops find out at tax time, from a shoebox. PrintOS knows already, because it recorded it while you worked.

Month by month, both sides

Pick a year and see every month: shirts made, split between what you made yourself and what you bought in, revenue after discount, what it cost you, and the profit that's left. Plus fabric kilos, DTF film in centimetres and cash, and your average ink coverage — the number that tells you how much of the film you paid for actually had a design on it.

Costed properly

For shirts you make: fabric, rib and labour — cutting, sewing, buttons, packing. For ones you buy in: what you paid for them. Then the film for that month comes off the top. Your margin isn't counted as a cost, because it isn't one.

Two clocks, on purpose

Revenue is dated by the order. Film is dated by the day you actually printed it. An order taken in January and printed in March is January revenue and March film — because that's the truth, and a report that mixes them is wrong in a way that still looks right.

Straight to the accountant

Export the whole year to CSV. And if a product has no cost set, the report says so rather than quietly showing you a margin that isn't real.

By month, by year

Every month of a year at a glance, with a total row.

Made vs bought

Shirts you made and shirts you bought in, counted separately.

Real cost

Fabric + rib + labour, or the buy price - plus the film off the roll.

Film and ink coverage

Centimetres, cost, and how much of it actually had a design on it.

CSV export

Hand the year to your accountant without retyping it.

Honest about gaps

Tells you when a product has no cost set instead of faking the margin.

Questions

About Reports & Costing.

QCan it tell me what a job actually cost?

Yes. PrintOS records the cost side as you work: fabric and rib in kilos for shirts you make, the buy price for ones you bring in, and the DTF film off the roll for every gang sheet.

The Reports screen totals it month by month — shirts, revenue, cost, profit, fabric kilos, film centimetres and average ink coverage — and exports to CSV for your accountant.
