The BusinessOS app: we hold nothing

BusinessOS runs on your own device. Sales, stock, customers, staff and photographs stay on that phone or computer. Nothing is sent to us, and we cannot see any of it.

If you use the app without BOS Online, we hold no data about you at all - there is nothing to ask us for, and nothing to delete.

BOS Online: a separate service

BOS Online is a subscription that lets several devices share one set of books. Only if you use it does a shop's data pass through our server:

• The shop's name, town, country, WhatsApp number and email.
• User names, scrambled passwords, and what each person may do.
• An identifier for each device that signs in, so a lost phone can be cut off.
• The business data you enter yourself, so it is the same on every device.
• Subscription payment history.

That data belongs to the shop. We hold it for you and use it for nothing else.

What we do not do

• We do not sell anybody's data.
• We carry no advertising and do not follow you around other sites.
• We do not read one shop's data for the benefit of another.

Payments

Card payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store a card number.

Deletion

When a BOS Online subscription ends, the data held on our server is deleted by itself. You do not have to ask, and the app on your own device carries on with its own records.
